Trützschler Foundation supports the Mönchengladbach football pitch league with €16,000

As part of the third match day of the Mönchengladbach 2025 soccer pitch league (Bolzplatzliga), the Trützschler Foundation officially handed over a donation of €16,000. The charitable foundation of the Mönchengladbach-based family business Trützschler is supporting the project over a period of four years.

Established in 2021, the Trützschler Foundation is committed to supporting children, teenagers and young adults in the areas of education, sport and research. By supporting the Bolzplatzliga, the foundation is underlining its clear commitment to local initiatives and social engagement.

The Mönchengladbach Bolzplatzliga is a project of the youth welfare organization De Kull e.V. and has taken place monthly on various public soccer pitches throughout the city since 2021. Aimed at young people aged 12 to 19, it promotes physical activity and pursues violence prevention goals while conveying values and strengthening social interaction. Participation is free of charge for all young people.

Thanks to the financial support from the Trützschler Foundation, the soccer pitch league can be continued and developed further in the coming years. “We see great added value in this project for all young soccer enthusiasts. By playing together, they learn team spirit, discipline and responsibility – for themselves and for others. We are proud to be able to support such a valuable project,” emphasized Caroline Lange, Chairwoman of the Trützschler Foundation, at the symbolic handover of the cheque.

Leon Glitt, Head of Sports at De Kull e.V., is also grateful: “We are delighted with the generous support from the Trützschler Foundation. In times when social projects often suffer from financial uncertainties, the long-term commitment gives us planning security. It is a strong sign that a Mönchengladbach-based family business is supporting a project that directly benefits young people in our city.”
