The German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) recently honored the top apprentices of the year 2023 in Berlin, Germany. A Trützschler team member was among the 219 outstanding trainees nationwide: Lucas Winter completed his training as a mechatronics engineer as the best apprentice in his profession in Germany. All top performers achieved the highest scores in their respective professions in this year’s Chambers of Commerce and Industry final exams – surpassing a competitive field of nearly 300,000 candidates.
“This award is a great honor and fills me with pride,” says Lucas Winter. He highlights the welcoming atmosphere at Trützschler right from the start, saying, “Even before joining Trützschler, I heard many positive things about the family business. This positive impression was consistently affirmed during the job interview and throughout my apprenticeship – I always felt comfortable and well-supported.” He particularly enjoyed the projects he could collaborate on with fellow apprentices. Following his apprenticeship, Lucas Winter started his career in plant engineering, and he is currently undergoing additional training to become a technician.
The Trützschler Group is very delighted about the continued collaboration!
