On May 7, 2022, Caroline Lange, Chairwoman of the Trützschler Foundation, cut the red ribbon to officially open the new children’s playground of the sports club SpVg Odenkirchen. The Foundation provided financial support for two-thirds of the total costs of around 20,000 euros. Children between the ages of two and five will particularly benefit from the new play area in the future.
The construction of the playground is an important step for SpVg Odenkirchen on its way to becoming a family-friendly sports facility. Among the guests at the opening was Monika Schuster, SPD city councilor in Mönchengladbach. In the medium term, the support of the SpVg is to go beyond the project: the Trützschler Foundation has firmly planned continuous financial support for the next five years.
